 Mrs. Knapik’s 2nd grade class held their annual Dinosaur Museum last week, an activity that incorporates science, non-fiction writing, creative writing, computer skills, public speaking and art. Students Decorate Cards for Veterans

Jefferson Elementary students made today a little more special for local veterans as they decorated Valentine’s Day cards for them. Each year, students decorate cards that are delivered to local veteran organizations, wishing them a Happy Valentine’s Day and thanking them for their service. Great job! More photos

Dylan Devine Is Section 2 Champ!

Congratulations to Schalmont sophomore Dylan Devine who is the two-time Section 2 Division II Champion after his win in this weekend’s Wrestling tournament! Dylan will compete in the State Tournament later this month. Congratulations also to senior Michael Cavanaugh who finished 3rd in the Section 2 Finals!

Spanish Club Shares Friendship Day

  Schalmont’s Spanish Club took the initiative to create a bilingual display in the HS lobby for “Día de Amistad,” Friendship Day in Latin America where fun and friendship is celebrated Feb. 14. Students are encouraged to take a note to pass on to someone they care about. Great job!

Congrats 2nd Quarter Sabre Citizens!

Schalmont Middle School held a Sabre Citizen 2nd Quarter Award Breakfast Friday to recognize students who have a good attitude, are enthusiastic and put forth a good effort. Girls Bowling Team Class B Champs Again!
