Schalmont Middle School students celebrated Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in Spanish class last week with a bead art project where they created colorful skull keychains!
Dia de Los Muertos is a colorful Mexican holiday where families celebrate and remember loved ones who have passed away. Families often decorate altars with flowers, candles, photos, and sugar skulls using bright colors to show that love and memories live on forever.
Great job, Sabres! #sabrepride
