Schalmont Middle School’s 5th grade celebrated the 1,000th day of learning Wednesday, creating a paper chain of 1,000 things they have learned since starting school in kindergarten.
Students in some classes also enjoyed 1,000-based classroom activities such as math exercises, puzzles and physical activities. “We are 1,000 days smarter!” said Teacher Ms. Scotti.
