Dear Jefferson families,
On Monday, June 15th students in grades K-3 will participate in a Field Day at Jefferson Elementary School. The rain date will be Tuesday, June 16th. The Kindergarten and 1st grade Field Day will take place from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. The 2nd and 3rd grade times are 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. All Field Day events will be on the back soccer fields.
We will need volunteers for the stations. If you would like to volunteer please use the form below:
You may sign up for either time slot K-1 or 2-3. Students will participate within up to 8 different stations with their class.
The students have all been assigned a color for the games. (Red, Blue, Green, or Yellow) This helps identify the teams for the volunteers. Please have your student wear the color shirt they are assigned for their team. If they don’t have that color, please don’t worry about buying one. Just have your student wear something other than the main four colors.
In addition, students must wear sneakers and appropriate clothing for the day as they engage in the many fun games. Students will need to bring a water bottle, there will be a refilling station as well. Sunscreen should be applied at home before school. PTO will be providing pizza from Four Corners and Freeze Pops for the students this year for lunch and snack.
