The smiles could not have been bigger Monday when our Pre-K students returned to school to find a bright and freshly mulched playground just for them that was completed over the spring recess.
Students laughed as they zoomed down slides and climbed up ladders… again… and again.. and again.. 💚🤍
The new playground was a particularly welcome sight as the existing playground, while in great shape, unfortunately is not age appropriate for 4-year-olds. Schalmont is keeping the existing playground, and even mulched the surrounding area, as it is a popular spot for our community’s families.
A special thank you to Facilities Director John O’Donnell who made this project happen, including finding a company who could install it this spring and ensuring the entire area was ready for our students when they came back to school today. #sabrepride
