Schalmont’s Functional Skills class explored Ancient Egypt this week with a trip to the Albany Institute of History & Art to see their new exhibit!
“Students got to see artifacts, sculptures and two mummies found during a 19th century excavation in Egypt! It was a great experience where the kids took things we’ve learned in Social Studies to make connections to what they observed!” said Teacher Ms. LaBarge.
