Schalmont Middle School would like to invite families to join the Family Book Club, which returns Thursday, October 22.

The Book Club is open to students in grades 5-8 and their families. The club will meet in the Middle School Library on Thursdays (Oct. 22, 29 & Nov. 12) from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. All books are free of charge.

This fall’s book selection is “The Teacher of Nomad Land: A World War II Story,” a National Book Award Winner by Daniel Nayeri.
