Dear Schalmont families,
Please be advised that the upcoming August Regents Examinations, coordinated by Capital Region BOCES, will be administered at Schoharie High School on Tuesday, August 18th and Wednesday, August 19th.
Students were expected to have already registered for these exams with their school counselor. Any student who is not pre-registered will be processed as a walk-in on the day of the exam.
Bus Transportation Schedule
District transportation will be provided to and from Schoharie High School, with all pick-ups and drop-offs taking place at Schalmont High School. Please review the schedule below carefully:
- Morning (AM) Exam Transportation:
- Departure from Schalmont: 7:10 a.m.
- Return Arrival at Schalmont: 12:00 p.m. (Leaving Schoharie at 11:30 p.m.)
- Afternoon (PM) Exam Transportation:
- Departure from Schalmont: 11:00 a.m.
- Return Arrival at Schalmont: 3:30 p.m. (Leaving Schoharie at 3:00 p.m.)
Important Note Regarding Extended Testing
Bus transportation back to Schalmont will strictly adhere to the 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. return departure times from Schoharie High School. If your child finishes testing after the 3:00 p.m. bus departure, they will need to have their own transportation.
Reminders for Students
- Please ensure students arrive at Schalmont High School at least 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled bus departure times.
- Students should bring necessary testing supplies (e.g., photo ID, pens, pencils, and approved calculators where applicable).
