8th Grade Dance Info for Families

Dear Parents and Families of the Class of 2030,

We are excited for the upcoming Eighth Grade Dance on Saturday, June 13 from 7:00–9:00 p.m. in the Schalmont Middle School Gym!

Please review the important information below:

1. Thank You & Amazon Wish List Donations
First, thank you so much to the families who contributed to our Venmo fundraiser. Because of your generosity, we were able to cover the cost of the photo booth along with several other dance expenses. Please be advised that any leftover funds will be sent on in a class account with the students as they move to High School.

In order to make this event as successful and memorable as possible, we are asking families to please strongly consider donating an item from our Amazon Wish List linked below. It would be amazing if each family could donate at least one item to help create a fun and exciting experience for our students. The more donations we receive, the more special elements we will be able to include during the evening!

2. Student Photo Slideshow
We will be creating a slideshow featuring our Eighth Graders that will be displayed during the dance. Please use the Google Form below to submit three – five photos of your child. Feel free to include different stages of their school career. Please submit photos by June 1st.

3. Hoodie Size Form – Required for All Students
Please also complete the Google Form below where we are collecting hoodie sizes for all eighth grade students. This information will be used to purchase a special gift that students will receive at eighth grade graduation.

We encourage families to consider sizing up so students can continue to enjoy the hoodie throughout their high school years. Please complete this form whether or not your child plans to attend the dance.
