Schalmont’s Science Honor Society spent a day volunteering in a greenhouse and in the fields of Patroon Land Farm last week during a school field trip!
The group of 20 High School students spent Friday morning washing radishes and planting garlic that will be harvested next summer.
The Patroon Land Farm supplies fresh produce for the Regional Food Bank in its mission to alleviate hunger and nourish the communities it serves. Each year, Schalmont students help the Land Farm, which relies on volunteers.
Awesome job, Sabres! #sabrepride
