If only schools these days taught basic home repair… well look at that!

Schalmont High School students learned how to sheetrock, install an electrical outlet box, and complete other home repairs in our new Home Improvement & Maintenance elective this year!

“We were able to cover multiple aspects of residential maintenance and construction and give students a good background in using the tools to do it as well as the correct methods for performing these tasks,” explained Teacher Mr. Beliveau. “Students really learned a lot and enjoyed it. One of the seniors even wrote ‘this has been one of my favorite classes of all my High School years’!”
