We are proud to announce that Schalmont has been named one of the nation’s Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation!

Schalmont is one of 830 school districts in the nation to be recognized for the award, which honors schools that “demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.”

“The award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education,” the Foundation said in a statement with the announcement.
