Pre-schoolers from Our Lady Queen of Peace made their semi-annual trip to Jefferson Elementary Wednesday as part of a long-standing Buddy Program!
Each year, children spend time with Mrs. Bennett’s 4th grade class, first visiting the classroom in the fall and then spending time together on the playground in the spring.
“They spent time on the playground, talking about some safe ways to use it and what kindergarten will be like,” explained Mrs. Bennett. “Both the 4 year olds and the 4th graders loved their time together, and it was a great way to wrap up their year together!”
