Schalmont’s Pre-K students had their very first Fire Prevention Day on Thursday thanks to the Rotterdam Junction Volunteer Fire Department!
The visit by our local firefighters was a huge hit with our students as they learned about fire safety and even got to try on some firefighter helmets, gloves and coats. Of course the fire truck was the biggest attraction as students enjoyed a tour of the vehicle!
