Amazing job Miss Pink’s 1st grade class! Students created floats for the Jefferson Thanksgiving Parade after learning about the history of the Macy’s Parade. To make the project extra fun, students had to use a potato in their design, resulting in amazingly creative student ideas!
“Students were given a jumbo potato and asked to design a miniature float around ‘The Spud’,” explained Miss Pink. “Families worked together and displayed such creativity and personality in the float creations. We also used the floats for ELA and math activities at school.”
