Hello Schalmont Middle School families,

As we wrap up the school year, please take note of the following key events and reminders:

Grade 8 Moving Up Ceremony
Date: Wednesday, June 25
Time: 2:00 p.m.
Location: Schalmont High School – Stadium Field
Field Seating Opens: 1:15 p.m.

Students should arrive by 1:30 p.m. and report directly to Gym 1 in the High School.

Please note: Pets are not permitted on the football field during the ceremony.

• Ceremony Etiquette
  Moving Up ceremonies are a formal event. We ask that guests refrain from bringing or using noisemakers, air horns, beach balls, or any other items that may cause distractions or disruptions during the ceremony.
• Grade 8 Sweatshirt Pick-Up
  Graduates can collect their sweatshirts at the conclusion of the ceremony at the table located near the end zone near the tent entrance.
• 9th Grade Orientation – August 28 – 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
  • Designed to help students transition to high school
  • More information will be shared over the summer
