Students in Mrs. Bennett’s 4th grade classroom enjoyed Halloween-themed science last week as they were challenged to design a catapult to launch candy corn.

“They had to collaborate to make a plan, and then got to build! Although there were feelings of frustration, groups persevered and were able to test their catapults! They definitely used their problem solving skills and had fun doing it! This will lead to great conversations about force and motion as they prepare for their next science unit,” said Mrs. Bennett.
