Mrs. Madej’s kindergartners learned first-hand about rabbits thanks to a visit from Shelby Wimet-Himelrick of Hop on Home Rabbit Sanctuary and two of her fluffy friends!
Ms. Wimet-Himelrick read the story “The Bunnies’ Picnic” to students and taught them about the nutrition of rabbits and how it compares to what students eat.
“Students asked many engaging questions they wanted to know about bunnies but most of all they enjoyed seeing Marshmallow and Blondie the bunnies that came to visit!” said Mrs. Madej.
