Thank you to local author Michael Burns who shared his children’s book “Nervous Rex,” a story about an anxious dinosaur who learns ways to be calm from a friend.
Mr. Burns described all that went into the book from getting the idea from his daughter to rewrites to working with an illustrator to come up with just the right design.
Students had lots of great questions including how long it took Mr. Burns to write it, how he came up with the characters, and what other books is he working on.
