The local musical icons, who have been playing their blend of Afro-Caribbean rhythms for audiences for 45 years, visited Schalmont High School this morning where Spanish and Music students jumped to their feet as soon as the music started.
Students also learned about the different instruments the musicians used and the beats that make up rhythms like merengue and cha-cha.
But it was the infectious music and opportunity to join the band on stage that students enjoyed the most in one of the most engaging and uplifting assemblies to come to Schalmont in a long time.
