Mrs. Mankuski’s kindergarten class celebrated Agriculture Literacy Week with some learning, reading and a tasty snack thanks to some special guests!
“We were lucky enough to have our homeroom mom, Antonia Giuliano, who works for the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets, as well as a special guest from Cornell Cooperative Extension, come visit our classroom to celebrate and educate us on Agriculture Literacy Week,” explained Mrs. Mankuski. “We enjoyed a story called ‘I Love Strawberries,’ an activity about the strawberry life cycle, and even enjoyed some delicious, juicy strawberries.”
