
Schalmont High School’s Introspection literary magazine has once again been honored as one of the best student-created magazines in the country! π
In a contest held by the National Council of Teachers of English, Introspection received the highest honor, REALM First Class. This is the second time in three years the magazine has taken top honors.
βI am so proud of the literary talent in our building. For such a small district, this is a huge accomplishment for our students to be recognized as one of the top literary magazines in the nation,β said Teacher and Club Advisor Mrs. Mattice.
βThis issue represents months of hard work editing, curating, and designing,β said senior Ali Mulyca. βOur latest edition ‘Meliorism’ makes us inexplicably proud of our club and our school,β added Leah Pauquette. Ali and Leah serve as the Editors-in-Chief for the club.
