Students were beyond excited last week when Ms. Santabarbara and Mrs. Zarecki’s 2nd grade classes released their classroom butterflies in the school courtyard!
After shooing away some hungry looking birds, students gathered around as their classroom butterflies were released.
“Remember we’re big, they’re small,” a student reminded classmates as they gathered on the grass to look at a butterfly.
“Safe travel, butterflies!” yelled another student.
