Senior Earns 2nd Place at SkillsUSA

Congratulations to Schalmont senior Vincent Unser who earned 2nd place this week in the SkillsUSA competition in the Interactive Application Video contest! SkillsUSA is a statewide competition that was held at the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse that offered students an opportunity to test their abilities in skilled trades and the workplace. Honor Society Cleans Up Courtyard

2nd Graders Research Dinosaurs

Second graders in Mrs. Pushee’s and Mrs. Madej’s class enjoyed a hands-on research project recently where they chose a dinosaur to learn about and then shared what they found. “Students enjoyed being able to make a replica of their dinosaur using various materials and create fossils,” explained Teacher Mrs. Madej. “They became ‘museum specialists” to …
