Congratulations to Schalmont High School’s Wind Ensemble and Concert Band who excelled at Monday’s NYS School Music Association’s Majors at Shaker High School!

“Concert Band earned a Silver Medal for their Level 3 performance and Wind Ensemble earned a Gold with Distinction for their Level 5 performance, which is the highest rating possible! Both groups worked extremely hard to prepare this difficult repertoire and the adjudicators had terrific comments about the music they’ve been making and suggestions for improvement in the future. We are so proud of these students!” said Schalmont Band Director Mr. Christy.
