First graders in Ms. Pink’s class used the stories “Snowmen at Night” and “Snowmen at Work” by Caralyn Bueher as inspiration for dioramas and writing activities!
Students first wrote fictional stories about what their snowman would do if it came alive at night and had a job. They also created Google Slides to match their stories.
“The highlight was when students got artistic and created dioramas to give their modeling clay snowmen a place to play,” explained Ms. Pink. “The class loved sharing these with another 3rd and 1st grade class and finally our families!”
