Schalmont is excited to invite our community to come celebrate the reopening of Woestina Elementary School with us!

Reopening Woestina: A Community Open House will be held Monday, August 18 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the school (located at 1292 Main Street, Rotterdam Junction).

Following a short, official welcoming ceremony, we will open Woestina’s doors for our community to take a tour and see all the hard work our Facilities Team has put into the building. Light refreshments will be served, including freeze pops for children.

Woestina Elementary will be the home of our new Pre-K program starting this September. The school closed after the 2010-11 school year as a cost saving measure but is now reopening to Schalmont families for the first time in 15 years!
