Students Learn About Día de los Muertos

Student decorates skull

Students in Spanish classes learned about Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) this week, a holiday where families create offerings to honor departed family members.

Students decorated their own calavera (skull) and used the colorful holiday to learn names of colors in Spanish or to create a story about their calavera, depending on what level of Spanish they are in.

Great job!
