Students Enjoy Physics Treasure Hunt

Schalmont High School students enjoyed an October day outside during their Physics Lab as they created treasure maps to help them learn about vectors.

Teacher Ms. Baird explained students created maps to hidden treasure locations using vectors, a term often used in physics to describe magnitude and direction. Students then exchanged maps, which described just the direction and distance to travel, to find hidden bags of candy outside the school.
