Congratulations to Schalmont High School seniors Caleb Mathurin and Aidan McTague who competed in Siena College’s annual High School Programming Contest last week!

With more than 400 participants, this year’s event was the largest Siena College has had in its 35th year with Caleb and Aidan competing with the area’s top coders.

“Both Schalmont students were recognized by multiple Computer Science faculty for their professional demeanor and grit throughout the competition,” said Teacher Kacie Rea. “Competing against other teams of four, Caleb and Aidan held their own and proudly represented Schalmont High School. Congratulations to Caleb and Aidan on an awesome job at the competition!”
