Schalmont is proud to announce the district has earned two awards in this year’s NYS School Public Relations Association’s Annual Communications Contest.

The district earned an Award of Honor (2nd place) for its Social Media Strategy and an Award of Merit (3rd place) for its Budget Newsletter. Awards are given out based on the reviews of communication professionals from across the country who judge entries for the contest.

“We are excited to receive these awards as improving our communication with our families and community is a top priority,” said Superintendent Dr. Thomas Reardon. “It’s rewarding to have our efforts recognized by the NYSPRA organization and the communication professionals who review school communications from across the state.”
