Nutrition Obstacle Course Tests Student Knowledge

Students look at nutritional information

Seventh graders enjoyed a Nutrition Obstacle Course recently in their Family and Consumer Science class where they learned about different aspects of eating healthy.

In a timed activity, students cycled through different stations where they examined nutritional labels, identified different types of fats, learned how food portions have changed, and tried exercise activities.

“It’s a fun way to test their knowledge and have an informal assessment of what they’ve learned in class,” explained Teacher Ms. Hanson. Great job!
