Message to Jefferson Elementary Students

March 18, 2020

Good Afternoon Boys and Girls,

Mrs. Gordon and I wanted to send you all a short message to let you know that we are thinking about you.  It is very quiet at Jefferson Elementary. We miss the smiles, laughter, and overall cheer that comes with a building full of 652 students.

We hope that you have been helping mom and dad out at home.  This means trying your best with the assignments that your teachers have provided.  While you will be doing school work during some portions of the day, I hope you also stay active by playing outside(when the weather is nice) and also by playing puzzles, board games, drawing, and singing. Now, is a good time to clean your room and help mom and dad out around the house or yard.

Mrs. Shands is teaching us how to use Seesaw.  We have been reading books on a daily basis. Make sure you get into your Seesaw account so you can listen to the latest story.  Feel free to send us a response and we will reply. Mrs. Ploss and Mrs. Cipperly have also asked me to remind you that they are now using SeeSaw as well.

Please continue to do your best and stay healthy.  Remember to wash your hands often and cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze or cough.  We miss you and will be checking in on you!

Sincerely,

Mr. Gifford and Mrs. Gordon
