On Tuesday, November 5, 2019 the Schalmont High School Key Club is sponsoring a chicken BBQ to benefit the Ritsona Refugee Project.
Key Club’s Ritsona Refugee Project will send a group of Schalmont students to Chakada, Greece. There, they will be volunteering at the Ritsona Refugee Camp. This camp serves Syrians seeking a safe haven from civil war and awaiting permanent asylum in the European Union.
*Meals available by pre-sale only. Deadline to order is Friday October 25th. Contact a Key Club member or Mrs. Carr at firstname.lastname@example.org to order.
*Meals cost $12 each. They are prepared by Little John’s BBQ and include 1/2 chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll & butter (all packaged in a to-go container)
*Pick up at SHS’s new gym entrance on Tuesday, November 5, from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
