Jefferson, Middle School help raise $180k for Ronald McDonald House

In May, the Ronald McDonald House in Albany honored all of the schools that read with them for the Read for the Ronald  McDonald House project.

Both Jefferson and Middle School were recognized for their efforts in the “Read for Ronald” program. Schalmont students in grades K – 6, raised over $10,000!

This year the Ronald McDonald House set a goal of raising $90,000. With the help of the 60 schools that participated in the program, they doubled their goal and raised $180,000! More than 225 families next year can stay because of our combined fundraising.

Congratulations to Mia Ralston (5th grade), Daniel Hladik (2nd grade), and Turner Michaud (Kindergarten) for being recognized as top fundraisers!
