HS Students Learn From RPI Students

Students learning virtually in class

Schalmont High School students had a chance to work virtually with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute students and learn about what college is like on November 20.

Each year, the RPI Engineering Ambassador Program connects Schalmont and RPI students. Due to COVID-19, the event was held virtually this year with RPI students providing background on topics such as engineering, electronics and architecture before working together on activities including working on hands-on simulations such as designing a roller coaster, electric grids and drag force.

Thank you RPI for continuing this program to help our students!
