Hello Schalmont Families,
As a reminder, please submit your request for graduation tickets by Friday, May 19. Included is some information to help you navigate the graduation event.
Graduation Date and Time
Friday, June 23 at 6:00 p.m.
Schalmont High School – Stadium Field
Field Seating Begins at 5:00 p.m.
Rain Date
In the event of inclement weather prohibiting the ceremony to be held, an alternate date has been scheduled for Saturday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m.
Arrival and Parking
Upon arriving on campus, our staff will assist with parking our graduates and guests. Our staff will direct guests to the parking lots with available space, then move to additional parking lots as needed. We will begin parking in the main High School lot and District Office lot, then fill the Transportation and Middle School parking lots. We will provide shuttle buses from the Transportation and Middle School lots. The athletic field lot will be reserved parking for people with disabilities.
Guests will be allowed on the field at 5:00 p.m. Seating on the field is general admission.
Graduate Arrival
Graduates should arrive at the High School by 4:45 p.m. and report to Gym 1 (the Main Gym). The main entrance and the gym lobby will be open for students to access the building. Students who ride with their families or drive themselves should park and walk, or take the shuttle to the building.
Parking for People with Disabilities
Guests who have disabilities can find parking spaces in the athletic parking lot located over the bridge and closest to the football field.
Field Seating and Ticket Collection
Guests who have received field seating tickets will be admitted onto the field starting at 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be collected at the field entrance upon entering the Stadium Field. Only guests with tickets will be admitted onto the field. All other guests may use the overflow seating in the main bleachers.
Overflow Seating
Guests not sitting on the field can find overflow seating in the home bleachers. Additional space is located on the outside of the field fence.
Shuttle
A shuttle bus will be provided for our guests that park in the Transportation and Middle School lots before and after the ceremony.
Formal Event
As our commencement is a formal event we do ask that our guests refrain from bringing and using noise makers, air horns, beach balls, or any other item that may cause a distraction or disruption to the ceremony.
