      • As an alternate option to mailing the absentee ballot in the return envelope, there is a mailslot receptacle for absentee ballots located in the back of the Schalmont Campus, near the Tennis Courts at the District Office at 1 Sabre Drive. This secure mailslot is only for:
        • Return of absentee ballots
        • Applications for absentee ballots
        • Challenges to any person on the list of those to whom absentee ballots were sent.
        • No other material is to be left in this box.
        • The lockbox will be cleared regularly up through June 8. On June 9, it will be cleared at 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Ballots must be received—either by mail or by depositing in the lockbox at the District Office—no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the election.

Applications placed in the box after 5:00 p.m. on June 4 will not be responded to.

Anyone seeking to view the list of all individuals to whom an absentee ballot has been issued, please call 518-355-9200 to set up an appointment to do so. Challenges placed in the box after 9:00 a.m. on June 9 will not be accepted.

If you do not have access to a computer you may call [518-355-9200] to make an appointment to view the list on the computer in the District Office lobby.

The deadline to request absentee ballot is June 4 at 5 p.m. – please email our District Clerk at jkaras@schalmont.net if you have not received a ballot.
