Students in Ms. Week’s 4th grade class created their own balloon floats last week before the Thanksgiving recess as part of a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) project.
Special Education Teacher Ms. Gleason, who helped students with the project, explained that students first drew inspiration from a book and then created plans complete with illustrations for their floats. Students then problem solved as they brought their creations to life using balloons, pipe cleaners and other items.
