"I wanted to thank all the teachers that poured into my
life during my years at Schalmont. Specifically I would
like to honor one man that made a huge impact in my
life. When I was in the middle school, I could not wait
to become a freshman so I could be under his leadership.
Mark Eiser was the kind of teacher that got down to my
level and still remained someone that you respected and
revered. He called me out on malicious behavior and did
not throw me away. He really cared about us and you knew
it. Thank you Mark for being a music teacher that gave
me some vision in very cloudy years. I am continuing to
create and do what I love. If I look back on High
School, what stands out for me is my time under your
leadership and friendship.
My wife and I own our own business in Guilderland. Poiema
Salon and Spa is another venture that I never
thought would be part of my life. I have to say that my
education at Schalmont, college and life experience has
prepared me for many of the challenges I face everyday.
Thank you for the opportunities." |

“I am proud of what I achieved over the years, but I
wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for the caring
teachers who guided me from Schalmont and their
sacrifice in helping me pursue my dreams… owning a media
company locally. A great house is built on a solid
foundation, and Schalmont was that for me. Thank You.” |
