square bullet graphic Kindergarten Wins Penny Wars, Earns Sweet Reward

Congratulations to the Mariaville Elementary kindergartners who together won Penny Wars, a fifth-grade fundraiser. Penny Wars collected over $1,000 in loose change to help pay for the fifth-grade fieldtrip to the Bronx Zoo. For their prize, kindergartners earned a chance to throw pies at three brave fellows: Principal Brian Hunt, fifth-grade teacher Mark Woodrow and fifth-grade student-teacher Brian Woods.
