  • It is a "one deep" school, meaning there is one class at each grade level in kindergarten through grade 5.
     
  • Its students are from portions of the towns of Princetown, Duanesburg, and Rotterdam.
     
  • It serves approximately 105 students.
     
  • It offers students remedial reading and math services as well as special education services, including speech and language therapy and physical and occupational therapy.
     
  • Its educational services are shared with other schools in the Schalmont district, including vocal and instrumental music teachers, librarians, and art and physical education teachers.
     
  • The Mariaville Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) provides support activities and funding to allow the school to maintain a motivating, high quality program for students:
    • The purchase of playground equipment, computer hardware, TV’s, and VCR’s have all been supported by the PTO.
    • Activities such as the annual "Sock Hop" and "Fun Fair," the annual 4th and 5th grade bike hike, and 5th grade graduation are all supported by parents either directly or through the PTO.
       
  • School begins at 9 a.m., and dismissal is at 3 p.m.
