Facilitation Committee

All Schalmont schools will have Shared
Facilitation Committees beginning in the 2010-11 school year.
The Schalmont Board of Education adopted the policy on Shared
Decision Making to give all of our constituent groups (parents
and community members, teachers, staff and administration) the
opportunity to participate in decisions affecting the progress
of our students.
Issues to be considered by the Shared Facilitation Committee
must relate to school policies that impact student performance.
The committees will meet regularly throughout the year and will
report to their respective groups on the issues discussed and
the decisions made.
Reports on the activities of the Shared Facilitation Committee
will be given at PTO meetings and in the monthly parent
newsletters. If you have questions, or an issue to be raised
with this committee, please speak to your representatives.
