The periodic table moved into 3D this spring in one of science
teacher Andrea Bryson's classes.
Her students choose an element from the periodic table, studied
it and then created a model representing the number of protons,
neutrons and electrons. Some students even dressed up to
resemble characteristics of their elements. The assignment
taught them a variety of features about their chosen elements,
including each one's atomic number, atomic mass, who discovered
it, and where in nature it is used.

elements.
