 Mrs.
Robin Bingham has been employed at Schalmont for 6 years.
Prior to that, she was a school counselor at Burnt
Hills-Ballston Lake High School. She is responsible for
middle school students whose last names begin with L-Z.Mrs.
Bingham received a B.S. in Education from SUC Cortland and her
M.S. in School Counseling from Russell Sage College. She
recently completed requirements for permanent certification in
School Counseling and received tenure this year. She is a
co-advisor of the National Junior Honor Society and the Sabre
Service Club.
Outside of school, Mrs. Bingham is involved with the Ballston
Spa Middle School PTA and Capital District Counseling
Association. She also enjoys golf, tennis, basketball,
crocheting, baking and chocolate!
Mrs. Bingham states, "I view my role as someone who supports
all students in achieving academic success. This is accomplished
through teamwork with students, parents, faculty and staff.
I also provide a shoulder to lean on and an ear to bend when it
comes to personal concerns. Students and staff know that
they have a safe, confidential place to turn when necessary."
Mrs. Bingham is married and has two children: Chelsea,
19; and Jon, 13.
