• Jefferson Elementary has approximately 650 students in grades K-5.
   
• We have 48 full-time and 11 part-time teachers.
   
• It was originally constructed in 1951, with additions made to it in 1956, 1974 and 2003. The building is on one floor and handicapped accessible. Jefferson Elementary joined in the fun with several special events, including the opening of a 1951 time capsule and dedication of a new time capsule to be opened in 50 years. • It is located on 25 acres of land at 100 Princetown Road in Rotterdam, NY.
   
• The school maintains two main offices. The K-2 office is overseen by the assistant principal, and the 3-5 office is overseen by the principal. The principal and the assistant principal share responsibilities throughout the building.
  
• Students arrive at 9 a.m. Dismissal is at 3 p.m.
