The Fusion Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) Club, established in 2002, is completely student-run and organized. It meets every first and third Tuesday of the month in the HS Library seminar room. Members participate in a variety of events, including the Day of Silence, a nationwide, student-led event during which thousands of high schools and colleges bring attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools. The picture at right is of students attending a "Breaking the Silence" event as a celebration after the DOS at the Egg in Albany.
