Students Nick Longo, Conor Hart, Dave Mastroianni, Kevin Brown, and Scott Lindell all qualified for the Class B Sectionals. The team was lead by Conor Hart’s 79 and Nick Longo’s 81.  Conor’s score was second best out of 58 golfers, and Nick’s score was fifth best.  Both Conor and Nick qualified for the Class A, B, C-D, Intersectionals, which was held at Orchard Creek. 

On day one of this two-day event, Nick Longo fired a 76, which put him in solid 9^th place.  Conor finished with an 80, putting him in at a tie for 16^th with two other golfers.  A playoff was announced, and Conor came out victorious in six holes.  Nick and Conor scored in the top 16 out of 43 golfers from Classes A, B, C-D, and they both qualified for the State Qualifying Tournament. 

The second day, Nick fired a 74, finishing with a two-day score of 150.  This two-day score was good enough for 6^th place.  Conor finished with an 86, with a two-day score of 166.  Nick’s two day total of 150 qualified him for the Section 2 New York State Golf Team. The State Golf tournament will be held at Cornell during the first week of June.

Other highlights:

• Conor Hart was awarded Colonial Council first Team All-Star and Schalmont Most Improved Player. 
• Nick Longo was awarded Colonial Council Second Team All-Star and Schalmont Most Valuable Player.
