The Student of the
Month Award is designed to recognize Schalmont High School
students for outstanding achievements and effort. It is
presented to students who have been nominated by a teacher
for their personal motivation, outstanding character
traits, community involvement, or sustained effort. The
winners are acknowledged in several ways, and awards include
a certificate of recognition and a shopping gift
certificate. Look for the display highlighting each of the winning students
on the Student Council Bulletin Board.
Several other
programs at Schalmont make high
academic performance alone their focus. The Student of the
Month program
enables faculty and administration to reward students
additionally for positive contributions to our school
culture and academic climate.
