Congratulations to the Mohonasen-Schalmont Girls Swimming/Diving Team on a successful meet* this past weekend!
 
Schalmont swimmers Dana Hallam and Amanda Vitullo placed fifth in the 200 yard medley and freestyle relays. Vitullo also was the Section II Division I champion in the 50 yard freestyle, and received the MVP Outstanding Swimmer Award from the section coaches. She qualified to compete in the New York State Public High Schools Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) meet on November 16-17 at the Nassau Aquatic Center, Long Island.
 
These two swimmers also earned:
  • Hallam - seventh place in the 500 yard freestyle.
  • Hallam - 15th place in the 200 yard freestyle.
  • Vitullo - second place in the 100 yard backstroke, setting a new M-S team record of 59.71 seconds and a NYS qualifying time.
